     Hey "you" guys!! It's your interp head, Kree'! Anyways, I have recetly gotten some books for the interp room and I was wondering if anyone else wanted to donate some books to the interp room. To be more specific, i'd prefer you not take them back when you graduated. Those pieces might be beneficial to later team mates.

Hey guys! It's your debate head, Cecil D. The NFL recently announced the new topics for upcoming debate rounds. Take a look-see. *Note: Policy Debate topic is annual; it doesn't rotate like LD and PF topics.

The topics are as follows:

Policy Debate (2009-2010 Topic)

Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase social services for persons living in poverty in the United States.

Lincoln-Douglas (2009 November/December Topic)

HEY!!!! As most of you know about Storytelling. For those who don't I can explain a little for you. Storytelling is a piece that is five minutes and memorized. The tournament you go to depends on what kind of Storytelling you do. For example, Oak Grove's topic was Disney Stories, and Petal's is Mystery.

 For this next week's assignments, keep your same topic.  Make sure you follow the page numbers assigned to you previously and instructions given. Thank yas! 

The team competed in its first tournament this season, besting the competition at the Stennis Novice Tournament at Mississippi State University. Congratulations to all our Novices who entered into the forensics world with their entries, and extra kudos to those who ranked in their events! Best of luck at future tournaments, novices!
